- Flour (often a mix of different strength flours)
- Brewer's yeast (fresh or dry)
- Milk or water
- Sugar
- Butter or oil
- Eggs
- Salt
- Sesame seeds for decoration
Once the dough is prepared, it’s divided, shaped into balls, and left to rise. Before baking, the buns are usually brushed with a mixture of egg and milk, and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
