BAKING PRO is a chemical leavening agent, commonly known as "baking powder," often used in sweet baked goods to increase the volume of batters such as cakes and pancakes. It works through a chemical reaction that produces carbon dioxide (CO₂), creating air bubbles in the batter, which expands and becomes soft and fluffy.

BAKING PRO is based on sodium bicarbonate, which releases gas at the right moment when it reacts with an acid. The reaction occurs slowly and steadily, and for this reason, unlike KINGPULVER (another chemical leavening agent from our range, click here, more suitable for biscuit-making), it ensures optimal leavening during baking in whipped or beaten mixtures such as sponge cake or plum cake.

BAKING PRO does not leave any aftertaste in the final product.

DOSAGE: 15-30 grams per kg of flour in the dough.

USAGE: Add to flour and mix as usual.
