ALPEN SARACENO allows you to create a dark, flavorful, and distinctive bread made with buckwheat—a grain originally from Northern Asia, which is particularly known in Italian mountain cuisine as the key ingredient for dishes such as polenta taragna, pizzoccheri valtellinesi, and sciatt, traditional sweets from Valtellina.

ALPEN SARACENO is enriched with flax and sunflower seeds, as well as oat flour and wheat sourdough, which give the bread a unique aroma and crumb texture.

With ALPEN SARACENO, you can also prepare specialty baked goods such as breadsticks, crackers, baguettes, focaccia, and sandwich loaves by adjusting the preparation process accordingly.
